Photography has the power to create a duplicate world; a focused, more dramatic space that comes and goes in an instant. For me, photography is a way to connect with people and places, and to tell the stories that matter.
I am a formally trained photographer with a Bachelor’s degree from the New Hampshire Institute of Art and a Master’s from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
My background is in education, with years of experience teaching photography, art, and sculpture. I spent several more years working alongside some of the best commercial and fine art photographers in Chicago and New York.
What’s the prevailing lesson?
… the best images and visual stories result from collaboration, creativity, and a mutual understanding of the ultimate vision.
When I’m not photographing, I’m absorbed in my bonsai collection, eating pizza with my wife Beth, and snuggling our pup.
